Debra A. Mayer graduated cum laude from American University in 1979
and magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 1987,
where she was elected to the Order of the Coif.
Ms. Mayer's litigation experience includes four years as a litigation
associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore, and eight years with the
entertainment litigation firm Gold, Farrell & Marks. In 1999,
Ms. Mayer became associated with Ms. Shatzkin's former firm, and
in October 2001, they formed Shatzkin & Mayer, P.C.
Ms. Mayer is a member of the American Bar Association Section on
Intellectual Property and the New York State Bar Association Section
on Entertainment, Arts and Sports Law. Since 1997, Ms. Mayer has
participated in mentoring and tutoring programs for middle-school
girls in East Harlem. She serves on the board of trustees of the
Calhoun School in Manhattan. |
